The Role:
BoyleSports is currently seeking a Sports Trader specialising in Gaelic Games to join our Trading team. As our new Gaelic Games Trader, you will be working in a team to deliver a best-in-class Gaelic Games proposition across all business verticals. The sports Trader will be responsible for overall trading prices and positioning for Gaelic Games in Boylesports, with a view to maximizing gross wins.
Working alongside the sports team as key support in identifying risks and liabilities for the business, as well as having a focus on new business or market opportunities within Gaelic Games and other sports within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a market-leading GAA betting product to our customers across all our business channels.
- Management of liabilities for the business across all channels.
- Continually monitor and review customers with a view to delivering margin and other key performance measures across the business.
- Work closely with the Trading & Sportsbook Operations team to deliver a best-in-class GAA proposition across all business verticals.
- Make informed trading decisions in a time-critical environment.
- Oversee presentations and displays on all platforms.
- Engaging and liaising with all key functions including customer services with all queries in relation to GAA trading.
Requirements:
- Ability to compile GAA betting opportunities.
- Mathematical and strategic thinking.
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
- A challenged and highly motivated individual with a solution-based work ethic.
- Flexibility – Roll will require work outside of the normal 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday window
- Strong knowledge of the GAA betting landscape.
- Industry experience required.
