Job Title: GAA Trader (Sports)

The Role:
BoyleSports is currently seeking a Sports Trader specialising in Gaelic Games to join our Trading team. As our new Gaelic Games Trader, you will be working in a team to deliver a best-in-class Gaelic Games proposition across all business verticals. The sports Trader will be responsible for overall trading prices and positioning for Gaelic Games in Boylesports, with a view to maximizing gross wins.

Working alongside the sports team as key support in identifying risks and liabilities for the business, as well as having a focus on new business or market opportunities within Gaelic Games and other sports within the team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a market-leading GAA betting product to our customers across all our business channels.
  • Management of liabilities for the business across all channels.
  • Continually monitor and review customers with a view to delivering margin and other key performance measures across the business.
  • Work closely with the Trading & Sportsbook Operations team to deliver a best-in-class GAA proposition across all business verticals.
  • Make informed trading decisions in a time-critical environment.
  • Oversee presentations and displays on all platforms.
  • Engaging and liaising with all key functions including customer services with all queries in relation to GAA trading.


Requirements:

  • Ability to compile GAA betting opportunities.
  • Mathematical and strategic thinking.
  • Strong team player with good communication skills.
  • A challenged and highly motivated individual with a solution-based work ethic.
  • Flexibility – Roll will require work outside of the normal 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday window
  • Strong knowledge of the GAA betting landscape.
  • Industry experience required.
