Reporting To: Security Manager

Location: Dundalk

Role Purpose

As the Assistant Manager – Security, you will drive improvements in performance across the Security team, ensuring that auditing, reporting and support responsibilities are delivered to a high standard.

You will work closely with the Security Manager to highlight key development opportunities within the team and provide support and training accordingly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fostering high levels of communication and support within the Security department, ensuring that each team member is able to execute their responsibilities effectively.
  • Working with the supervisors to ensure high completion rates across all audit processes, escalating any completion issues to the Security Manager in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that scheduled reporting commitments to the wider business are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Driving efficiency and standards across the Security department’s support commitments.
  • Overseeing the core administrative requirements within the department such as timesheets, holidays and work rotas.
  • Providing support and training to the Security team, ensuring the annual assessment framework is implemented within the department.
  • Supporting Security manager with recruitment and succession planning.
  • Ad Hoc duties as assigned by Security Manager.
  • Ensuring the department works to clear policies and procedural guidelines
  • Engagement with law enforcement as and when required
  • Continue to develop and maintain knowledge on all areas of risk which affect the business
  • Support and provide input into the pipeline of business requirements from enquiry to delivery

Specialist Skills and Experience

  • Direct experience working within a betting industry audit function.
  • Positive and open outlook is fundamental for this role
  • Excellent written skills are essential
  • Ability to work alone and make judgements without being influenced
  • Ability to lead and delegate effectively
  • Ability to deliver constructive and accurate feedback, both negative and positive
